Final True Blood Season Three Promo Video

The first promo featured Eric and Sookie and the last one does to. I guess Alan Ball finally realizes that Eric and Sookie are what people want to see! BUT this new promo is a deliberate attempt to mess with Eric and Sookie fans IMO. The way it is edited makes it look as if Sookie shoots Eric, which would be a slap in the face to fans. Eric has only ever looked out for Sookie and certainly has done nothing worthy of being shot by her… argh! I swear Alan Ball gets his jollies by trying to irk Eric fans.

I think this scene takes place directly before the scene we saw in the first promo. Based upon a few deductions I am guessing that Sookie actually shoots the Were creature that attacked them and not Eric. First of all, Eric had to be invited into Sookie’s home. Why would she invite him and then shoot him? Also the way they are facing and the way Eric jumps into the path of the bullet leaves me to think that Eric takes a bullet for Sookie, then grabs the were (who just tried to kill her) and demands to know who hired him. Sookie grabs the gun and gets a shot off at the Were.
